09/15/19 Double Round Robin

Our success this season resides within each member of this team.  You must commit to giving 100% towards the success of the team.  When we lace up our cleats and hit the dirt, each of you must do your part for the team, not for the individual.  An individual can fail and a team can still be successful if they are committed to each other.  Mistakes can be overcome if you play as a team.  

When we wake up this Sunday, check any baggage that you have at the front door of your home, don't bring it to the field.  The field is our happy place, bring the right attitude to the field and you've already won, no matter what the scoreboard says.  We play this game for fun, sure we have dreams and goals for the future and most of us want to use this sport as a vehicle to get us to the next level of play.  You will have a hard time doing that if you don't have the right attitude.  Each of us has expectations of ourselves and our team but if we can learn to keep those expectations at a minimum we have less of a chance to be upset with things don't go the way we think they should.

Make a commitment to one another to do your very best on every play, learn empathy for your teammates so when they make a mistake we lift them up and support them instead of making them feel worse then they already do.  I can assure you that when each of you makes a mistake (and you all will), there's nobody on that field that feels worse then that person who let their teammates down.

Work together, play together, have fun together and don't mind the little things.  I believe in all of you and have said it so many times already.  This group of girls is amazing and has so much talent, let that talent shine and play some good ball this weekend like I know you can.
